There are three things in the universe which I miss.
1. Douglas Adams
2. New Calvin and Hobbes cartoons
3. New Far Side cartoons.

One of the best comic strips ever. Right up there with C&H for me.

On the one-hand, Larson didn't want his comics shared online. On the other hand, Far Side comics in my face on my screen. POST APPROVED!!!

It's sort of an odd thing, that. Each Far Side is its own little self-contained vignette, perfectly packaged for sharing. Most graphic artists get screwy about redistribution allegedly for the same reason as AC/DC don't like to release singles - album and context are supposed to be enjoyed en bloc with other cohesive material, or that's supposed to be the idea. A Calvin & Hobbes isn't always as funny outside the storyline in which it occurred... but Far Side?

I don't know why but the first one is my favorite Far Side cartoon. It's not super funny but I love it.

The Far Side has always been one of my favorites.

"Bummer of a birthmark, Hal."
That comic will never not be funny.
